A diverse audience of customers, partners, and young talents got together to come up with something awesome, something new, something with purpose to make the world a better place. Utilizing the SAP Customer Experience product portfolio (like SAP Cloud Platform Extension Factory, SAP Customer Data Cloud, SAP Sales Cloud, SAP Service Cloud), their own products and skills, they only had 24 hours to work on their idea to build a working prototype and present it in front of a jury.
Everyone could feel the excitement when the 50 participants had the chance to present in front of Alex Atzberger (CEO SAP Customer Experience) and some selected members of his executive leadership team. And for some it was a sleepless night, trying their best to incorporate as much of the feedback received as possible.
The winners got the unique opportunity to present on stage at SAP Customer Experience Live. But see for yourself…
About the Hackathon winners’ projects:
The winning team in the category professionals were a mixed team of customers and partners. They designed an application to reduce the visible and invisible cost of integration by applying the tools of the intelligent enterprise to create a seamless and fearless immigration experience.
“Millions of people join European countries every year and want to stay. How can we reduce the cost for integration while creating a beneficial customer experience for the people involved?
“In a collaborative effort between governments, volunteers, and companies we will apply the intelligent enterprise tools to integrate a custom-tailored education and inclusion experience which facilitates the process of becoming a newresident.eu.”
In the category for young professionals we had two winners:
The first team created a mobile app called ‘Trashcend’. They used machine learning and SAP Cloud Platform Extension Factory to change the way people recycle. By providing the necessary contextual information about every item and an easy explanation on the best way one can recycle it.
The second team focused on a crowd platform called ‘Community Voting’. Their solution aims to provide an easy platform for everyone where users can upload their issue in their community and find a consensus.
By publishing an issue, residents of a community can reach their neighbors and vote for the best solution to solve the issue in the interest of everyone. With this approach the community regains the power to make a change.
