With our final event on November 5th, we closed out the SAP Customer Experience LIVE 2019 EMEA series. Dubbed the “city tour”, CX LIVE made three single-day stops in two months: London, Dubai, and finally Munich. Innovation topics were well-represented throughout with showcases, keynotes, side events, and plenty of interactions with customers, partners, and colleagues – more than enough reasons for a recap!
We started on Oct 3rd at Magazine London, where we showcased KOI and the Levi’s Pocket Stylist.
The next stop was the The Ritz-Carlton in Dubai on Oct 6th – The Levi’s Pocket Stylist was once again on the show floor, while our Chief Innovation Officer, Eugenio Cassiano, gave a keynote on “The Art of Building the Future of Customer Experience”. Emphasizing the importance of co-innovation, he was joined on stage by Tobias Buxhoidt, founder and CEO of Parcellab, one of the SAP.iO Foundry Munich start-ups.
Our last stop was Munich, where we held our own special side event, “Experience: Innovation” the day before the conference. (See the highlights in our follow-up post, coming soon!)
The main event was held at the MVG Museum, the museum for public transport – a very unique location that led to an interesting contrast between history and the future of enterprise software. In addition to the Levi’s Pocket Stylist and KOI, we debuted two new showcases; Guardian and Zefiro.
Beyond the show floor, we also took over the SAP CX Innovation Truck parked outside of the museum to hold Design Thinking “speed-dating” sessions. Denise, Alice, and Judith had a dynamic setup to introduce attendees to our DT methodology and ideation techniques.
Not to be forgotten was Labs Talk, as Sven and Nick held live audio and video recordings of our podcast from a retro U-bahn car. Look out for the special CX Live features from both Munich events, starting with the just-released Episode #5. Don’t miss out if you want to hear (and see!) what a Chief Innovation Officer makes of his job…
