We just returned (and recovered 😊) from our internal developers’ conference aka ” SAP dKom” which took place in Karlsruhe.
There we showed our most recent addition to our prototype portfolio: enter project “Loop” – using intelligent security (IoT) tags we transform classic retail products in to “self-managed” products.
A self-managed product is a product that is aware of its (health) status i.e. was it moved, dropped or was the box opened.
Loop uses the security tag movement data for two purposes:
- Providing indirect feedback used in a Qualtrics survey & dashboard
- Offering a discount if the product/box was dropped or opened
Combined with in-store navigation and dedicated micro questionnaires along the way, the direct- and indirect-generated experience [X] data, combined with operational [O] data like check-out, can be used for a continuous in-store optimisation:
# In-Store heatmapping
# In-Store sales area optimization
# Dynamic in-store navigation routing
# Personalized product offers
# Most bought & tried together items – learn and cross sell online | phygital
All of this is done using following SAP products:
- SAP Qualtrics
- SAP Customer Data Cloud
- SAP Commerce Cloud
- SAP Marketing Cloud
